We open our day with games and singing, followed by a short Bible-based lesson. The remainder of the day is jam-packed with more games, activities, and a ton of fun!

What is PA Day Camp?

​

• Camp is a fun and exciting way for kids in the communities of North Durham to build relationships with each other and caring volunteers from Emmanuel Community Church.  The day will consist of:

  • Music and media

  • Group games and activities

  • A Bible-based lesson and story
     

Who attend PA Day Camp?

​

• Emmanuel Community Church PA Day Camp is open to any children who are currently in Junior Kindergarten up to Grade 4 during the '22-'23 school year.  Students in grade 5 and older can contact us to learn more about becoming a junior leader.
   

Where is camp located? When is it happening?
 

• The next P.A. Day Camp is happening Monday, October 24th, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Community Church located at 1680 Reach Street in Port Perry.

 

Here is a sample of what a day at camp might look like:

8:30 - Doors Open

9:00 - Open Session 

10:00 - Morning Snack (provided)

10:30 - Game/Craft/Bible Story small group rotation

11:15 - Game/Craft/Bible Story small group rotation

12:00 - Lunch (please bring a nut-free lunch from home!)

12:45 - Game/Craft/Bible Story small group rotation

1:30 - Small Group Huddle

2:00 - Big Group Game

3:00 - Closing Session 

3:30 - Pickup

What should my camper bring?
 

• Campers should bring with them:

  • Bagged nut-free lunch & snack

  • Water bottle

  • Weather appropriate clothing

  • A change of clothes, just in case!
     

What does it cost?
 

• We want everyone to be able to come so we have kept our registration fee minimal.  The nominal cost for one day is $10 per child.  Of course, we never want the fee to be prohibitive - please contact our office if you would like to discuss a scholarship. Donations are always accepted and appreciated to help cover any costs associated with PA Day Camp. Any surplus from donations will go into our ministry budget to help us provide fun and exciting programming for children and their families throughout the year!
   

• Registration fees can be paid by cash or cheque, on or before camp.  Cheques should be made payable to Emmanuel Community Church.  Additionally, the registration fee can be paid by e-transfer. Please contact our office for information on that payment method.  We also accept credit card via Pushpay.  Use the button below for the camp-specific payment link.

If you would like to donate towards our camps by cheque, please make payable to Emmanuel Community Church and write Kids in yuur memo line.  Tax receiptable gifts can also be made by credit card - please click below and designate your gift to the fund "Kids."
