Equipping Christian Leaders in Ukraine
Since the fall of communism in 1991, L’viv Theological Seminary (LTS) has played a vital role in training Christian leaders across Ukraine. Recognizing that nearly 70% of pastors and evangelical leaders lacked theological education, LTS stepped in to equip men and women for faithful ministry.
Amid the ongoing war, LTS has faced immense challenges. Half of their students have been displaced—many now serving as soldiers or living as refugees. They’ve lost 30% of their facilities and equipment, and several regional branches have been occupied. Staff members have suffered imprisonment and even death.
Despite these hardships, LTS remains committed to its mission. In September 2023, they resumed classes, though with fewer students and limited resources. Remarkably, the seminary has also provided aid to over 6,500 refugees in the past year.
Please continue to pray for and support L’viv Theological Seminary as they faithfully serve in the midst of adversity.
