Timothy Fund Scholarships, PAOC GlobalEd
(Val Penney)
In building the kingdom of God, the deliberate, diverse and dedicated discipleship of national leaders remains a priority. We multiply our impact when we mobilize thousands of kingdom-minded leaders. For students responding to God’s call but facing financialbarriers, a $600 annual scholarship can make all the difference.
Over the past 15 years, more than 2,800 scholarships have been awarded across 30 PAOC partner colleges globally. Your support through the Timothy Fund helps to:
Empower future leaders by offsetting tuition costs and allowing students to
pursue their training without financial burden.
Strengthen partner colleges by helping them establish sustainable budgets and
achieve financial independence.
Mobilize local mission workers in regions where Canadians may not be able to
go—releasing a gospel presence in hard-to-reach places.
When you give to the Timothy Fund, you're not just supporting a student—you're strengthening the global church.
Update
Emmanuel has supported Timothy Fund Scholarships since 2012?, equipping dozens of
ministry students at PAOC partner bible colleges globally. These graduates are now
impacting their communities for Christ globally, going places we can’t, like Egypt, Ethiopia and Ukraine.
The GlobalEd team is comprised of Dr. Kirk Kauffeldt (Director), Shelley Kauffeldt
(Manager of GlobalEd Institute), Moriah Kolenda-Fleming (METP Studies Coordinator)
and Valerie Penney (Manager Global Programs). Valerie has been our connection with
Timothy Funds since her husband, Fred, pastored Emmanuel from 2001 to 2018.
Val is now an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada working with
PAOC Mission Global. Other than sharing the word of God, their greatest joy is playing nerf guns and dress up with their six grandkids.
